Swan is a bitcoin-only financial services company offering bitcoin purchases, IRAs, private wealth services, business accounts and custody options. Swan charges 1% on bitcoin buys and 1% on sells, with no buy fee on a new client's first $250, and bitcoin and cash withdrawals are always free. Customers can choose where their bitcoin is held. With Swan Vault, funds sit in a 2-of-3 multisignature vault whose keys are stored in separate locations, and the client holds the keys. With Swan Safe, bitcoin is held in segregated custody in an account in the customer's name at a regulated financial institution, not in Swan's name; partners include BitGo Trust, Equity Trust and Bakkt. Swan also encourages clients to withdraw bitcoin to self-custody.
