Valkyrie was a Nashville-based digital asset fund manager acquired by CoinShares in January 2024. Before the acquisition, Valkyrie launched the Bitcoin Miners ETF (WGMI), which tracks publicly traded Bitcoin mining companies rather than Bitcoin itself. The Valkyrie brand is now operated under CoinShares in the US market.
