Coinkite is a Canadian bitcoin hardware company founded in 2012 that makes self-custody tools. Its best-known product is COLDCARD, a bitcoin-only hardware wallet that is set up on the device itself, with no COLDCARD account or required companion app, and signs transactions air-gapped by moving PSBTs over microSD, NFC or QR. COLDCARD also supports multisig, Seed XOR, BIP-85 and trick PINs. Coinkite's other products include OPENDIME physical bitcoin bearer devices, BLOCKCLOCK displays, SATSCARD and TAPSIGNER NFC cards, SATSCHIP chips, steel seed backups, and arca, a personal data haven for critical secrets. All Coinkite products are bitcoin-only, and there is no custody account: they are built for people who hold and verify bitcoin themselves.
