Prenetics is a Hong Kong–headquartered health sciences company founded in 2014 by Danny Yeung and Lawrence Tzang, building consumer genomics and diagnostics brands such as CircleDNA, IM8 and Europa with a focus on early detection, prevention and personalized health solutions.

In June 2025 Prenetics announced a board‑approved corporate Bitcoin treasury strategy and completed an initial $20 million BTC purchase (187.42 BTC) as the first healthcare company to adopt an aggressive institutional Bitcoin allocation; the company has described plans to expand holdings, pursue institutional financing and begin accepting cryptocurrency payments across its consumer platforms.

Prenetics is led by co‑founder and CEO Danny Yeung, who is driving the company’s convergence of healthcare and digital assets, and has added crypto industry veterans for governance and execution—including former OKEx COO Andy Cheung as a board member and advisors such as Tracy Hoyos Lopez and TOKEN2049 founder Raphael Strauch to support regulatory, market and institutional initiatives.
