Acre is a Bitcoin-first compounding platform that enables BTC holders to earn on-chain, auto-compounding yield while preserving self-custody and on‑chain transparency through a Bitcoin-in, Bitcoin-out model.

The project was launched by a team with nearly a decade of Bitcoin experience and roots in builders and products like Thesis, Fold and tBTC; Acre’s dApp is live on mainnet and the protocol has surpassed $100M+ in BTC TVL as it expands integrations and DAO governance plans.

Acre is led by co-founder and CEO Laura Wallendal, with Brian Mahoney listed as a co-founder and core contributor (Thesis/Acre), and the team draws contributors and advisors from projects including Threshold, Lido, EigenLayer and Wormhole.
