Aker ASA is a Norwegian industrial investment company established in 1841 and re‑listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2004; it operates as an active owner across energy, industrial tech and biotech portfolio companies and is led by President & CEO Øyvind Eriksen with Kjell Inge Røkke as Chairman.

Aker entered the Bitcoin ecosystem in 2021 by launching Seetee AS — a dedicated vehicle initially capitalized with NOK 500 million that holds its liquid investable assets in bitcoin and focuses on buying and owning bitcoin, building mining/verification operations, and investing in Bitcoin and blockchain companies (including a collaboration with Blockstream).

Seetee’s initial management team included Magnus Granath, Snorre Lorgen and Sverke Lorgen, with Ola Snøve named Executive Chairman, reflecting Aker’s strategy to combine industrial capabilities with crypto-native partnerships to pursue Bitcoin infrastructure and innovation opportunities.
