What is the best bitcoin credit card in Q4 2026?
All terms below were checked on each issuer's own site on Oct 8, 2026. Rewards only come out ahead if you pay the balance in full, since interest can wipe out what you earn.
Best bitcoin-only rewards: Fold Bitcoin Credit Card
The Fold Bitcoin Credit Card is a Visa issued by Celtic Bank. Every qualifying purchase earns 1.5% back in bitcoin with no cap. The card has no annual fee, and the purchase APR is 20.49% to 29.49% variable based on credit.
One thing to know: Fold's card page still says "up to 4%," but its Rewards Program Terms (version 2, effective Sep 24, 2026) replaced that structure with Fold Reserve tiers. A $15,000 Reserve balance lifts the rate to 1.75%, $25,000 to 2%, $50,000 to 3%, $75,000 to 4% and $100,000 to 5%. Boosts are capped at $5,000 of spend a month across Fold's credit and debit cards. We're going with the terms.
- Pros: bitcoin-only, flat 1.5% on everything, no annual fee
- Cons: the higher tiers need a large Reserve balance, the marketing page and the terms don't match yet
Best if you hold assets on Coinbase: Coinbase One Card
The Coinbase One Card runs on American Express and pays bitcoin back in four tiers, 2%, 2.5%, 3% and 4%, based on your assets on Coinbase. The 2.5% to 4% tiers apply to the first $10,000 of eligible purchases a month, then 2%. Travel booked through Coinbase One Card Travel earns 5%. There's no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee, but you need a paid Coinbase One membership, which starts at $49.99 a year. If you're declined, you may still qualify with a USDC security deposit from $100.
- Pros: 2% floor is strong, up to 4% for bigger balances, Amex benefits, no FX fees
- Cons: requires Coinbase One, the top tiers depend on keeping assets on Coinbase
Best no-membership crypto card: Gemini Credit Card
The Gemini Credit Card is a Mastercard World Elite issued by WebBank. It pays 4% on gas, EV and transit (on up to $300 of spend a month, then 1%), 3% on dining, 2% on groceries and 1% on everything else. Rewards land instantly, and you can choose bitcoin or 50+ other assets. No annual fee and no foreign transaction fees.
- Pros: no membership, instant rewards, strong category rates
- Cons: the 4% category is capped at $300 a month, 1% on everything outside the bonus categories
Best if you live in Venmo: Venmo Credit Card
The Venmo Credit Card pays cash back, not bitcoin: 3% on dining and entertainment, 3% when you pay with Venmo, 1% on everything else, plus an extra 1% when friends pay you back for a split. You can turn on crypto auto purchase, and Venmo buys bitcoin with your monthly cash back without a crypto transaction fee. No annual fee.
- Pros: no annual fee, easy if you already use Venmo, auto-buy with no crypto transaction fee
- Cons: rewards start as cash, not bitcoin
What is the best bitcoin debit card?
If you don't want a credit line, a debit card that pays bitcoin is the next best thing.
Fold Card (debit)

- Pros: works as a checking replacement, $0 monthly fee, bitcoin secured by BitGo
- Cons: rewards rate isn't published as one number
Bold virtual Visa debit
Bold offers a virtual Visa debit card you use online or with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Rewards start at 0.25% in bitcoin and rise to as much as 10% as you buy more bitcoin with Bold. A physical debit card is listed as coming soon. Bold's buys start at 0.98% and new users pay zero fees on their first $10,000 of buys, a limited-time offer.
- Pros: highest stated ceiling of any card here, no monthly fees, collaborative multisig vault
- Cons: virtual only for now, the top rates depend on how much bitcoin you buy
Bringin (Europe)
Bringin is a Visa debit card for Europe that spends bitcoin or euros. It costs €3.49 a month or €37.69 a year, with 0% FX fees and a 1% bitcoin to euro rate. It's a spending card rather than a rewards card, and it isn't aimed at US users.
- Pros: spend bitcoin directly, connects to self-custody, no FX fees

Should I get a bitcoin card or just buy bitcoin?
A rewards card turns spending you already do into small amounts of bitcoin. It doesn't replace buying, and it only pays off if you clear the balance every month. If you want to stack faster, a free recurring buy at one of the apps on our exchanges page does more than any card.
We covered the Fold card's launch with Stripe and Visa behind it when it was announced.
How we picked
We started from the card issuers on 21rates.com, read each card's rewards rate, annual fee and key terms on the issuer's own page on Oct 8, 2026, and left out anything we couldn't confirm there. We weighted the rate you get without strings attached, fees, and whether rewards arrive as real bitcoin.
