Bull Bitcoin is a Canadian, Bitcoin-only exchange and payments platform created in 2013 as “Bylls” and re-branded in 2018 under CEO Francis Pouliot. Operating on a strict self-custody model, it never holds client coins: every purchase sends BTC straight to the customer’s own wallet (on-chain or Lightning). Users can fund accounts with Interac e-Transfer, bank wires, or cash deposits, set up automatic dollar-cost-averaging, sell BTC back to CAD, and even pay Canadian bills or credit cards directly in Bitcoin; the service has also expanded as an on-ramp in Costa Rica’s Bitcoin Jungle. The company is registered with Canada’s financial-intelligence regulator as a Money Services Business (FINTRAC MSB # M16730720), complies with Canadian AML/KYC rules, and supports proof-of-reserves through its non-custodial design. No altcoins, leverage, or custodial wallets are offered, making Bull Bitcoin a niche but highly trusted option for Canadians who want a straightforward, regulation-compliant way to buy, sell, and use Bitcoin while retaining full control of their keys.

Bull bitcoin review

Good if you only want Bitcoin and you’re in Canada. Fast Interac deposits, easy withdrawals to your own wallet, and less crypto clutter. Downside: fees are higher than some apps, and it’s Bitcoin-only so no altcoins or trading. Solid for stacking sats, not for trading.
